If I could have one Ancestor for Christmas,I would invite my Gr. Gr. Uncle James Dixon and his wife Maria for Christmas.
First: I would ask my GG Aunt Maria who her parents were and where she and her parents were born (with dates of course).
Second I would ask both of them for a list of all of their descendants.

General information;
James Dixon: b. 1828, New Brunswick, Canada, d. 1909, Granville, Australia.
Maria (Smith) Dixon: b. c1830, location not known, d. Dec. 1890, Notham West, Melbourne, Australia.
James immagrated to Australia before 1854, Maria went to Australia via New York City in 1854.
Settled in Wangaratta. They had nine children, two died young.

I am interrested in learning more.
